CNN/Money - Up-to-date financial news from CNN. Includes stock quotes.

Federal Trade Commission - The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requires each of the nationwide consumer reporting companies to provide you with a free copy of your credit report, at your request, once every 12 months. The FCRA promotes the accuracy and privacy of information in the files of the nation’s consumer reporting companies. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation’s consumer protection agency, enforces the FCRA with respect to consumer reporting companies.

Government Loans - Provides information on federally sponsored loans. Separate areas include agricultural, business, disaster relief, education, housing, and veterans' loans. Includes a comprehensive glossary of related terms. This site is sponsored by the United States government.

IRS 990 – Searchable database of 501(C) organizational (non-profit) annual submission to the IRS. 

Massachusetts Business Filings – Searchable database of businesses in Massachusetts.  Provides stock information, director’s names, and addresses, date of organization and fiscal year end.

FuelEconomy.gov - Developed by the DOE and EPA, this website has an electronic version of the Fuel Economy Guide, and features updated fuel economy data for new and used passenger vehicles dating back to 1984. Helpful for making informed automotive purchasing decisions.

Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs & Business Regulation - Helpful website for Massachusetts consumers, including a complaint filing process, fraud alerts and reports on ongoing investigations, online publications concerning topics such as the Lemon Law, landlord-tenant, and small claims, and access to information about the state's regulatory divisions.

U.S. Consumer Gateway - Consumer resources of the Federal Government. Offers easy access to the consumer divisions of Federal agencies, reports and consumer tips, as well as special interest articles and scam or safety alerts.

U.S. Consumer Information Center - Full-text consumer publications, together with links to consumer resources available only on the Web, and to the Consumer's Resources Handbook.

U.S. Consumer Product Safety Division - Recall notices, safety tips for kids and families, and other information. Some pages are available in Spanish.

Disability Resources – Provides information on Federal programs, services, and resources to Americans with disabilities, their families, employers, and service providers.

Disabled American Veterans – Provides information on legislation and issues affecting disabled veterans.

The Disability Law Center – Serves the  severely disabled individuals in Massachusetts.  Focuses on investigations of abuse and neglect, denial of services or benefits, rights to community placements, human rights violations, life sustaining treatment and discrimination.

Get AT Stuff - The Assistive Technology Exchange in New England.  The goal is to put AT equipment that is not currently being used into the hands of someone who can benefit from it - a free "classified ad" type resource designed to help people find, buy, sell, or give away used AT equipment.

Talking Book Library – Worcester Public Library - The Talking Book Library provides free services to Massachusetts residents of any age who are unable to read traditional print materials due to a visual or physical disability.

Environmental Protection Agency - EPA's Climate Change Site offers comprehensive information on the issue of climate change in a way that is accessible and meaningful to all parts of society – communities, individuals, business, states and localities, and governments.

American Antiquarian Society Worcester – National research museum and library of American history, literature and culture through 1876.

Salisbury Mansion Museum Worcester - The Salisbury Mansion was built in 1772 by Stephen Salisbury I and is recognized as a major historical resource. It is one of the few remaining 18th century buildings in Worcester and is one of the most documented houses in New England. The home has been restored to re-create the home life of the Salisbury Family in the 1830s.

Worcester Art Museum - 5,000 years of art and culture displayed in 36 galleries. Worcester's world-class art museum chronicles the extra-ordinary history of human creativity through 50 centuries.
