and Study Room Policies
Application
The
Library provides meeting, conference, and study space for educational,
literary, philanthropic and civic purposes free of charge. The
use of these spaces must meet the goals and objectives of the Board of
Trustees in providing for the informational, educational, and cultural
needs of the community.
Meeting Room Policy
Space
is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications
must be on file before a meeting or conference room is officially
reserved; no application is needed to use a study room.
Applications may be submitted in person at the Information Desk on the
Main Level or by FAX at 508-764-5428. Phone
reservations are not accepted.
Applicants will be
notified by phone or e-mail once the application has been approved.
Pioppi Room
This room is named for Nerio Pioppi,
M.D., who served on the Board of Trustees both as a member (1943-1967)
and at the Chairman of the Board (1951-1967). This room is
equipped with state-of-the-art projection and sound systems, a white
board and has Internet and cable television access. The room
includes a small kitchenette with a sink and refrigerator. The
Pioppi Room can accommodate up to 50 people and is located on the Lower
Level.

Mills Conference Room
This room is named for Paul A. Mills,
who served on the Board of Trustees (1978-2006). This conference
room is equipped with conference seating and a white board and has
Internet and cable television access. The Mills Room can
accommodate up to 12 people and is located on the Lower Level.

Children's Craft Room
The Children’s Craft Room is
child-friendly equipped with tables and chairs, is carpeted and has
access to separate restrooms located in the Children’s
Department. A sink is located in the room. The Children’s
Craft Room can accommodate up to 24 people and is located on the Lower
Level. The room is reserved for child-centered activities.

Grace Edwards Study Room
This room is named for Grace Edwards,
the daughter of library benefactor Jacob Edwards. This small
study room can accommodate up to 4 people and is located on the Second
Level.

This room is named for Hannah Edwards,
the daughter of library benefactor Jacob Edwards. This small
study room can accommodate up to 3 people and is located on the Second
Level.
